This commercial customer in Miami Gardens called for ac repair on a system that was not cooling. We discovered that this system has never had regular maintenance or service. Firstly, the system is very old with a condensing unit from 2007 and a air handler from 1985. The system is in bad shape due to age including rust and damage to multiple key components. Due to the condition, our technician recommended against ac repair and offered a quote to replace instead.
During this service call, we addressed a system not cooling at a commercial facility in Boynton Beach. The system is in good shape overall, but the capacitor was faulty causing the compressor to shut off due to being overloaded. Once we replaced the capacitor, we checked the system for and it resumed proper operation.
This commercial customer called for two systems that were not cooling correctly. Both were in bad shape, we found there were multiple issues including an extremely dirty drain line, drain pan and drain pump. There was low voltage and wiring issues that we were able to correct and get the Air Handler to turn on again. The condensing unit had no power due to burnt up wires. Both the contactor and dual run capacitor need to be replaced. We highly recommend against repair. These systems needs replacement and are in bad shape due to not having regular maintenance and upkeep.
During this residential service visit in Lighthouse Point, we performed a full tune up and maintenance on all four of this customer’s systems. These routine services keep the systems running in top shape while being a preventative measure to ensure longevity of the system and reduction of repairs or breakdowns. This system won't need any ac repair because of the scheduled maintenance.
During this residential tune up, we checked all moving and electrical parts for proper operation. We also tested all safety features, changed out the filter and cleared the drain line. While performing the precision service we discovered that there were a few issues that needed to be taken care of including coil cleanings and a faulty blower and contactor. Since the system is 9 years old, we recommend looking into a replacement as the parts warranty on the system only has one more year until expiration. Our comfort consultant will visit this customer to provide replacement options that are best suited for this home.
During this scheduled maintenance for one of our commercial customers, we performed our routine precision tune up on all the systems on the property. We have created a customized maintenance plan for their systems to ensure proper function, increase the longevity of the system and reduce breakdowns and repairs.
This Fort Lauderdale commercial facility, our technician performed an evaporator coil cleaning which removes the build up of dust, dirt, grease, and bacteria causing a barrier that forces the coils and the entire system to work harder. This allows for improved indoor air quality and proper efficiency for the system.
This commercial customer has a customized maintenance plan with us, this gives them scheduled maintenance throughout the year that is tailored to their systems needs. Belts and filters are replaced, drain lines are cleared, and key functions and parts are surveyed for proper function. Having scheduled tune-ups on systems through the year ensures peak performance and efficiency as well as prevents costly repairs and breakdowns.
For this commercial customer, they had two of their rooftop systems acting up. On the first system, it was not running due to a burnt out contactor which was causing the system over work. We replaced the faulty contactors and the system is running and cooling properly. On the second system, we found it running with multiple issues, two contactors needing replacement as well as the condenser fan and blade which was running backwards and causing an overheating in some of the electrical equipment.
This call for a residential customer in Hollywood, we took apart and cleaned two ductless mini split air conditioners. Both coils and all moving parts were cleaned. Once the two systems were put back together they were checked for proper operation and cooling. Both systems are functioning at peak efficiency because of the full cleanings.
This commercial customer in Fort Lauderdale called us stating their system was not cooling and freezing up. Our technician on the scene reviewed the entire system and diagnosed the problem to be at the Thermostat. The thermostat’s programming and internet connection needed to be updated. After this, the system is now running properly without any problem.
During this commercial call in West Palm Beach, the customer advised that their Career Services Office was warmer than usual. Once we reviewed the system we discovered that the thermostat scheduling was incorrect. After updating the time and temperatures, the system was functioning properly and back to a normal cooling schedule.
For the commercial customer, we performed a scheduled cooling tower cleaning. Regularly cleaning a facility’s cooling towers is important because dirty towers increase energy costs because of decreased efficiency during heat exchange. Regular cleaning and maintenance maintains the sanitation of the towers by preventing the spread of bacteria.
This residential customer in Hillsboro Beach took advantage of our Spring AC Check Special. During this visit we checked the entire system and suggested repairs and services for the system to be functioning in top shape for the upcoming summer season.
We visited one of this commercial customer’s multiple facilities throughout South Florida for a system not cooling, after a full diagnosis of the problem we discovered that the condenser fan motor, blade and capacitor were faulty and needed replacement. After the new parts were installed the system has returned to cooling properly.
During this commercial repair in Wilton Manor, we replaced the condenser fan blade and fan guard. This system is under warranty, so this repair was completed at no cost to the customer.
For this commercial facility we performed our customized maintenance plan on all systems. This includes furnishing and changing all filters, performing a precision tune-up on all systems and general cleaning and upkeep on all systems at this facility.
Our Boca Raton residential customer noticed her system was not cooling properly. Our technician ran a full diagnostic of the system and found multiple issues causing the failure. The thermostat was damaged causing the outside unit to not come on. We also found that the capacitor and fan motor needed replacement as well. We replaced the thermostat, capacitor and fan motor.
This was a follow up visit on a Carrier AC in Pompano Beach. Since the system was under warranty, we were able to replace the part at no cost to the customer. We returned today to make sure that the new part was functioning properly and there was no damage from the faulty part. All is good with this AC!
This resident in Deerfield Beach needed their AC’s blower wheel and evaporator coil cleaned. Cleaning the blower wheel allows for improved efficiency, prevents the build up of dirty and sludge, and also minimizes corrosion in the system. Having the evaporator coil cleaned removes the collection of dirt, dust and pollen.
During this residential call in Sunrise, the customer advised that the drain line was not draining properly. Our technician ran a full diagnostic to pinpoint and verify the issue and to see if there was any other problem affecting the operation of this AC system. After clearing of the line and drain pan, operations have resumed to normal. This customer also signed up for our Service Partner Plan to ensure peak performance with scheduled maintenance throughout the year.
During this residential call in Davie, the customer reported that the system was freezing and leaking water. After review, we discovered there were multiple issues including an extremely dirty blower wheel causing improper airflow, the liquid filter was rusted out, and the condenser coil was in poor shape. Instead of suggesting repairs on this 23 year old system, we advised to replace it with a new, energy efficiency system. Our comfort consultant went out to this customer to suggest the best options for her home.
